The project resulted from the inception of The 30-Year Plan for Greater Adelaide, which plans for an additional 560,000 people. A large proportion of this population growth is set to occur in the Northern Adelaide region including Angle Vale. As a result Development Plan Amendment investigations commenced to determine the capacity of Angle Vale to provide for population and housing growth. The investigations identified that the total area for expansion at Angle Vale is approximately 700 hectares, with a potentially significant increase to the population of Angle Vale in the order of 12,000 to 15,000 people.
Intro and URPS were the project planners who negotiated the inclusion of land within the area for rezoning, undertook the requisite investigations and have been involved all Infrastructure Deed Negotiations.
