This project, recently granted planning Development Approval, proposes an eighteen storey mixed-use building to create 65, one, two and three bedroom apartments. At ground floor commercial uses are sensitively configured within the volume of the existing building to provide activation to the street and to the wider square. The design approach for this project involves the sensitive re-use of an existing heritage listed building whilst creating a new, efficient, innovative and contemporary mixed-use residential development above. The apartments are designed to exploit the buildings prime orientation and aspect, adjacent to one of Adelaide’s most significant green squares.
